This is the accent strip and binding of the quilt. I used a hand dyed Parakeet Blue batik fabric for the accent strip and binding. I used Kona Cotton in a matching Parakeet Blue for the backing. The Kona Cotton was wonderful to work with and it gives this quilt some weight, making it really nice to cuddle up with when the temperature drops.
